Fort Wayne native Chris Todia has been named the new Chief Operating Officer for Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana.

Over his relatively short career, Todia has built an impressive résumé as a talented sales, advertising, and marketing professional. He’s traveled to China, India, and Germany for product sourcing and manufacturing. He’s also received numerous awards both as a college undergraduate and business leader.

“Chris Todia will bring a new fresh perspective to the YFC ranks,” says YFC CEO Larry Lance. “Young, ambitious, full of energy—when you add those ingredients to someone who is a strategic thinker and visionary, well, there will be no limits to our growth and impact in northern Indiana. We feel that having Chris on board will enable us to reach even more young people with the Gospel.”

Todia and his wife are both graduates of Snider High School and Bethel College in Mishawaka. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Bethel and completed an MBA at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, where he also served as assistant director of admissions. More recently, he was a sales and marketing manager for Furniture Row Companies in the Greater Denver area.

“YFC has such a rich tradition here in this area,” Todia says. “When the opportunity to be considered for the position arose, we decided to pursue it. I hope to help create increased efficiencies, to continue to build on YFC’s philosophy of teamwork, and to help the organization grow to the next level. Ultimately, I’m excited to be a part of YFC's impact on this community through raising up lifelong followers of Jesus."

Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana serves Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Whitley, Kosciusko, Marshall, Starke and Fulton counties. The organization's core ministries include Campus Life, City Life, and Juvenile Justice Ministries.

Youth for Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with local churches and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
