Thank you Ben McLaughlin for your time at YFC!

Four years ago in April, God placed in Ben McLaughlin’s heart a call to reach the youth of North Manchester with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Ben had just finished his ministry degree at Grace College and was figuring out what was next in his journey. An electrician by trade, he began his adventure to follow God’s call on his life.

In the fall of 2013, Manchester Campus Life began once again under Ben’s leadership.  What began as a small group of students meeting every week has grown to be a strong site in Wabash County. Ben and his volunteers are currently connected to over half the students at Manchester High School through weekly club meetings, student leadership groups, trips, and just daily connecting at the school. On Monday evenings you can stop by the Firehouse in North Manchester to see anywhere from 30-50 high school students at a Campus Life club meeting. Many students have come to know Christ through Ben’s ministry; others have made re-commitments, while others are still searching.  Ben has done an incredible job of loving each teen no matter where they are spiritually! God has used Ben in powerful ways the past four years, and we at Youth for Christ are very grateful for his work.

Ben and his wife, Janelle, have come to a point in their journey where Ben is looking for the next opportunity to serve the youth of North Manchester, and he is excited to see what God does next. Please look for ways to thank Ben for his work with Campus Life.

YFC is currently interviewing potential directors to continue the work at Manchester High School.  Pray for Ben and Janelle, as well as YFC during this journey.
