What is an INDIGENOUS LEADER?
A young person raised in the urban community who has shown the desire to be taught in a seemingly unteachable environment possesses the fortitude to lead in a positive manner even when it seems no one is following and has the audacity to shine or reflect light in the midst of darkness.

Leadership Opportunities

INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP – Our goal is to empower leaders within urban neighborhoods to change their communities for Christ. Because of this, leadership development is knitted into all of our programming and methodology. Students who are empowered to stand up as leaders and equipped with the tools to do so will change their community.

STUDENT INTERNSHIP – Resources for students to help prepare them for the workforce and to explore possible vocations (mock interview prep, Internships, professional dress, business etiquette, resumé building, financial literacy, and career development).

CORE – Teams of students meet weekly with adult coaches who, together, follow Jesus in a way that naturally invites friends to discover Jesus with them.

Family Meals

There’s something special about coming around the family table to eat. We intentionally engage with youth around a family-style meal Monday – Thursday, where we have relevant conversations about current events.

Educational Success

Striving to improve the education of urban scholars. We provide tutoring, study tables, goal setting and collaborations with local colleges to assist our urban scholars down the path of educational success.

SCHOLAR SUCCESS PLAN – Help set measurable and winnable goals for education success.

COLLEGE TOURS – Contact us for college tour dates.

Recreational Activities

City Life is a fun and safe place for students to play sports, video games, pool, exercise, hang out and more!

Club — a time to meet with a larger group of kids in a safe, high-energy setting to talk about relevant topics and connect them to God’s truth. Club’s non-threatening atmosphere gives students a place to belong.

Special Opportunities

A series of class opportunities, offered to teach new skills and focused on teaching and empowering students to strive to be the best they can be and to pursue leadership within themselves and their community. A few examples of the opportunities are Man-Up, Leading Ladies, Workforce Readiness, Art, Cafe, and more. Please contact us for more info.
