February 24, 2020 – (Fort Wayne, Ind.) The Northern Indiana chapter of Youth for Christ welcomes Taylor Monaco as their Director of Communications and Engagement.
Taylor joins the YFC team with more than 13 years of experience in communications and marketing, strategic planning, community engagement and leadership.
A San Diego native, Taylor graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Mass Communications. She started her career in public affairs in San Diego where she earned a PRSA Silver Bernays Award for her community engagement work on the Carlsbad Desalination Project in Carlsbad, California.
Over the course of her career, Taylor has worked in marketing and communications across various industries including wealth management, building and construction, military, advertising agencies, and more. In 2012, Taylor managed a city-launch in San Diego for then startup, Uber, and most recently served as the Vice President of Communications for Lifeline Youth & Family Services and Crosswinds Counseling here in Fort Wayne.
In her new role, Taylor will be responsible for managing internal and external communications efforts, enhancing YFC’s ability to creatively engage with those they serve as well as various stakeholders and partners. She will also expand YFC’s ability to invest and engage in the communities where they work in order to mobilize resources for the mission of reaching youth at all costs.
