“Wise people are builders – they build families, businesses, communities. And through intelligence and insight their enterprises are established and endure. Because of their skilled leadership the hearts of people are filled with the treasures of wisdom and the pleasures of spiritual wealth.”
Proverbs 24: 3-4 TPT
As a Campus Life Director, it is important for those already invested in this ministry and those yet to join to have a clear vision of what is to come for our community. In our first year in North Manchester, my family has witnessed a community ready to build. The Bible tells of God using a remnant to build a space for people to thrive. My hope is to create an environment for people and their dreams to flourish. Pushing through opportunities and challenges will expose the difficulties that come with growth. It is in this space where stories are redeemed.
During this season of transition, the focus is on creating relationships with the community, administration, teachers and students. Building these relationships in an authentic way will create greater longevity with Campus Life in Manchester High School. Witnessing unique traditions in town shows how primed North Manchester is to “establish and endure.”
God continues to provide! Our Spring Break Trip is approaching and students are signing up to encounter a life-changing experience. Our Core group continues to meet each week strengthening their relationship with peers and the Lord. Pray for the Lord’s work to advance the mission of YFC in North Manchester.
