Breaking the cycle of repeat offenses and despair for youth in the 21st Century and beyond – with focused intervention and reintegration into Allen County communities through the love, hope, freedom, restoration and power of Jesus Christ. The Juvenile Justice Ministry works with at-risk young people that are often outside the scope and reach of mainstream ministry.
Whether at the City Life Center, in the neighborhood of the juvenile detention facility, or at the local emergency youth shelter, YFC believes in the power of connecting these hurting young people with caring Christian adults. With over 10 years of experience in the Allen County Juvenile Center, YFC staff and volunteers show God's love and hope to institutionalized youth through chapel services, Bible studies, counseling, long-term follow-up, and social skills instruction.
