Last year, Sophia tackled a series of challenges that tested her resilience. Transitioning to middle school—a significant step for any student—became even harder when she broke her ankle. The injury created physical and emotional hurdles, making it difficult for her to give her best effort. Despite these obstacles, Sophia refused to let her circumstances define her.

With the support of the City Life team, Sophia found the strength to persevere. The encouragement she received helped her stay focused, while her faith gave her the hope and determination to keep moving forward.

Sophia has taken control of her journey and made incredible progress. She submits her assignments on time, demonstrating her growing sense of responsibility. She also takes a proactive approach to learning by creating lists of strategies and actions to improve as a student.

Thanks to her hard work and reliance on God, Sophia is on track for an incredible year in the classroom! We proudly celebrate Sophia as an example of the transformative power of 3Story relationships. When God’s story is introduced to a young person through a relationship with a trusted adult who loves Jesus, lives change!
