The following is a story written by a student who attended our Spring Break Trip.
At the start of this year, I was an atheist. I didn’t think I believed in God, but I also knew I wanted to try and figure things out. I went to Campus Life with my friend one week and knew I had to come back.
As soon as I heard about the Spring Break trip, I knew I had to go! Each week I went to Campus Life, I felt a little bit closer to God… still not sure He was real, but I saw something in the people that were there.
Early on during the Spring Break Trip, I knew that I was ready to make a commitment to follow Jesus! I had seen and heard enough that I knew I was ready to be all in and start living a new life!
I talked to my leaders on the Spring Break Trip and asked Lina to baptize me! The next week my mom and I went to church with that leader.
